Spiraflex wound modules have been specially developed to meet the challenges of industrial applications. These modules use reverse osmosis (RO) membranes to effectively separate salts and other impurities and produce fully demineralized water. The classic application for reverse osmosis is seawater desalination. Today, however, it is used in a variety of industrial applications, for example as the final purification stage for the filtration of waste water and process water. SpiraFlex reverse osmosis modules are available with different UO membrane types and in various combinations of length and diameter.
